Where to park in NYC for a Rachael Ray taping?

I got tickets to go to a Rachael Ray taping. I was wondering if anyone knew where to park? I am coming from NH. We know how to get there we just don't know where to park. Has anyone gone before? Or does anyone have an idea about parking and where it would be easiest to park?

Meghan, parking north of the City and taking the train into the City will be very helpful. The reason for this is because taking the train from the northern suburbs is cheaper and much more efficient than driving into town and trying to finding parking, which can be expensive at times.

Since you're coming from New Hampshire, may I recommend parking at the following stations on the Metro-North's New Haven Line.

New Haven-Union Station
Bridgeport
Stamford
Rye (free parking on weekends and holidays)
Larchmont (free parking on weekends and holidays)
New Rochelle
Mount Vernon East

Once you park your car at one of the above station, you can take the New Haven Line to Grand Central Terminal. The round trip off peak fare to and from Grand Central ranges from $13 to $28.

The studios of the Rachael Ray show is located at 222 East 44th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenue. The studios is located not far from Grand Central and the UN, so you can walk from the Terminal to the studio. In fact, there is an exit at Lexington Avenue and 43rd Street, that is closes to the studio.
