Shira-saya Sword (Wakizashi)
Though this sword's date of origin is unknown, its use was prevalent during the 1800's. Often referred to as a "Cane Sword", this weapon was frequently chosen by Samurai because its sleek and simple appearance made it very easy to conceal. These beautiful swords are hand-crafted as the originals with blades that are forged from high-carbon steel. Smooth polished rosewood is used to form the blade housing and scabbard.
A few photos and some fun with sword-canes, while waiting for the guests to arrive at the wedding reception, in the gardens of Tewin Bury Farm in Hertfordshire.

No. To simply possess any sword is not illegal. If you possess it and carry it in a concealed many however, it is as it would be considered a dangerous weapon.
I was looking into buying an automatic switchblade knife. Although they are illegal in most places, I was wondering where I could get one from?
