i remember you begin choosing the female or male character.They had curses that showed as a mark i believe the male had it on his hand i also remember they talk to some weird bird that looked like Quetzalcoatl from final fantasy 8 just smaller im not giving you much to work on i cant remember much but if you tell my i'll look into the gameplay or a screenshot of the title and best voter you if its correct =]
New:i posted this and it ended no right answer that time i need to remember this game =/ the girl started with a bow i think and the boy a sword lol well i cant remember the name but it wasnt rise of kasai...
