Yes. Switchblades are considered concealed weapons. Any knife, with a blade longer than 4" is also illegal to carry concealed.

No switch blades are legal anywhere any more. Most States also say the blade cant be more then 3 inches long. If we keep calling knives a weapon for defense etc instead of a (tool) the Gov will ban even carrying them. Dont get a State Legislature some other reason to take another right from us as they have the guns for example in Illinois

A kitchen knife’s purpose is to cut food. A switchblade’s knife’s purpose is to cut other things.
If you have a good reason to be carrying a knife when you’re out walking the streets – for example if you’re a tradesman on his way to a job which requires you to cut something – then you will be fine.
However, if you do not have a valid reason to carry a knife, then the assumption is that the only reason you have it is so you can cut other people. If a knife is "concealed", then it is even more suspicious: there is no good reason for a person to be carrying a concealed knife.
If you were caught by the police with such a knife, then their natural assumption would be that you were carrying it because you wanted to hurt someone. So you would be in a lot of trouble.
Best advice is – don’t do it unless you’re a tradesman as described above!
