to tell you the truth i like both but if you want to show off then butterfly are better.But if want to be and have a gansta knife then i would go with a switchblade.

Switch blades are illegal in every state since they are spring loaded. Butterfly knives are lumped in with what they refer to as gravity knifes in most states which are also illegal in every state.
