What Are New Jersey’s Laws Pertaining To Having A Sword On Your Person?
i wanted to know this because i was thinking of buying a few swords ..maybe an ax or cane sword or so..online.... not for anything offensive i just like them..so is it illegal to have one on you in public?
Carrying an edged weapon in excess of 4 inches in length is considered carrying a deadly weapon. If you are walking around in public with such a weapon on you, you will be arrested and charged as such.
If you collecting them, they are legal as long as you keep them in the home.
