    Good to know, …
    Good to know, Semper Fi

  • LedZeppelin13k7:

    Lies….you can if …
Lies….you can if youre military, law enforcement, or have a concealed weapons permit in a state that allows that which to my knowledge all states do. In which case if you have permit you can carry any size blade that you can “conceal” or a handgun.

  • LedZeppelin13k7:

    I’m a marine and …
I’m a marine and you are right mostly. I was issued a SOG folding knife (automatic) along with my fixed blade. Also KABAR is not the only maker of our fixed blades. Like my standard issue was made by the Ontario knife company. The Ontario looks very very similar to the KABAR with the same blade steel. As of last year we no longer carry the leather wrapped handled “classic” although i have one theyre now all black rubberized handles. Just a heads up. Semper Fi!

    “Iraqi Freedom”. …
“Iraqi Freedom”. What a laugh. I guess being invaded by foreigners and killed is the ultimate freedom.

  • DLJ585:

    its not standar …
its not standar issue, they let us in our unit buy some like these, ya know just in case, if we got them, we had an arm band that held it in place so we could take them out quicker

  • Palamneus:

    I’ve never heard of …
I’ve never heard of any switchblade types being standard issue for military.

KA-BAR’s classic fixed blade is the only one I’ve ever heard of and rightly so (7” blade 1095 crovad) its a beast and soes whatever.

Everything else is commemorative or personal preference; they make alot of blade styles with military and tactical preferences in mind I actually have a couple.

  • Gigafuzz:

    Well the button …
Well the button makes it seem like at automatic knife, so you think it would be illegal, but I guess if theyre being distributed to the U.S. military then maybe not.

  • peashooter101:

    Your right. These …
Your right. These knifes are automatic, not switch so they’re legal.

  • xNeutrino27x:

    no. all …
no. all switchblades are illegal (unless its california legal, the blade has to be under 2″) but it is LEGAL to own. if you get cought possesing it in public you will get in trouble.

  • Invadrshanee:

    they aren’t illegal …
they aren’t illegal, only restricted. if you don’t plan on carrying it around in public, you can get one.

  • Loganproductions12:

    Correct me if I’m …
Correct me if I’m wrong… Since they open out the side, i believe they are LEGAL. OTF (out the front) ones are ILLEGAL in most states

  • Spiderguy117:

    to bad switch …
to bad switch blades are illegal in NY or i would get one

  • krinklezz:

    yea it wouldnt …
yea it wouldnt because when you push the button no matter how your holding it the back of the blade would be hitting whatever is in the way.

  • Theonegamefreak:

    THat’s scary.
    THat’s scary.

  • darkwarior12:

    ok lol
    ok lol

  • spizzaza:

    nah, because the …
nah, because the blade is facing the other way, so the side that hits your hand is blunt. and it probably wouldnt even be able to open.

  • krinklezz:

In the US you have …
In the US you have to be in the military or have a very hard to get license or have one arm :P

  • thisismeplusyou:

    It probably would …
It probably would jus not open until you moved your hand.

  • darkwarior12:

    what happens if it …
what happens if it hold it the other way and press teh button?
    do you cut yourself??

  • BlacksheepV8drift:

    I need one….. =0
    I need one….. =0

  • flabpackforu:

    does the bid one …
does the bid one com out the top ore side

  • dozzy000:

    how much are these …
    how much are these knives?

  • empred:

    if you register a …
if you register a switch blade is it legal to own or just if your in the military.

  • Tagger1994:

    i also want those …
i also want those but in germany they are illegal :-(

  • HelterSkelterMars:

    Okay, to actually …
Okay, to actually answer the question. Yes they are legal for possession AND you can carry it with you. The issue with permits, I don’t know. But yes you can own a switchblade in Arizona.
