Double Edge
How to block a Double-Edge Sword?
I have been practicing fighting for over 2 years now. Coming up with new ways of how to defend myself and assault someone. I am by no means a Martial Artist, I am completely self taught I would just like to know what would be the best way to Block a Double-Edge Sword unarmed I know quite difficult and i expect a high risk in injures.

Well, it is not easy, and you have a high probability of death, but it is possible. Most empty hand techniques against a sword involve moving to the side, and blocking the hands of the sword carrier as the sword comes down. The ones we do at our school involve waiting until the person with the sword strikes, moving in with a cross block (both hands crossed), and trapping the hands of the person with the sword before they bring it down. Then, you can hip throw the person, take the sword away, or any number of things.
Like I said, hard to do, but it is a defense.
Or, you can wait until they cut off your arm, and you bleed on the floor and hope they slip. Either way....
