Black Fixed
I have a black spot in the screen of the camera, could it be fixed? and where?
i droped my digital camera and now i have a huge black spot in the lower right cotner of the screen, could it be fixed? my mother gave the that cam for my b-day a year ago and i don't think they have a receipt. what should I do? please give me good answers. its a canon powershot SD400
Sounds like the LCD has separated from the glass at the corner. If this is not in your pictures then I would keep using it unless it is makes the screen unusable, You will have to return it to Canon for repair. A local Canon Camera store can probably ship it to Canon for you. Probably cost around $300 to repair. At least that is what mine cost for my D30. As others have said your receipt will not help you on physical abuse or damage. Nobody covers damage from dropping except the dropper.
