What is the laminate wood called that is comprised of many layers of multi colored wood?
A lot of times you see pocket knives or hunting rifles who's butts and handles are made of this laminate type of wood product. It is made of many many layers of wood that are stained different colors. they are laid ontop of each other and then compressed and hardened. afterwards, this material is cut into pocket knife handles and rifle butts. What is this material called? It is gernally made of greens, reds, and yellows, and blues. Please Please Please tell me what its called. thanks. Luis Pernia
