Questions about Remington 11-87?
I have this gun http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model_11-87/model_11-87_sportsman_camo.asp I would like to remove the camo paint finish and install woods stocks like on this model http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model_11-87/model_11-87_premier.asp Will this be possible without ruining my gun. Where would I buy this butt and forearm. Also would it be ok for me to do or would it be better left to...? Thanks in advance!
Remington sells those parts. Brownells does too...and Numrich as well. Ditto for Gun broker and maybe ebay.
I would let a gun smith do a reblue job.
I would sell or trade this gun for the blue/wood model. Its quite easy to sell a good camo gun.
That would be your best and most efficient option. You are looking at 300-400.00 to do all of that to your current gun.
